That being said, there are many positive testimonials I have seen about the water, but some say they see no difference.  A lot of people claim to get impressive health benefits from alkalizing their body with high ph water.  Is the person who told you that trying to sell you the water or a machine?  Try some yourself at no cost up to 5 gallons.
